Following HomeLight’s recommendation, I contacted Danielle Dowell in Chicago last summer. After explaining that our condo was rented and under lease until May 31 this year, Danielle offered my wife and me great advice on when to list. After a thorough market analysis, she also recommended the right listing price. Our South Loop condo was listed on a Thursday and we had a contract by the following Monday. Her team was flawless at every step along the way. She has a great network of relationships that made the process of selling our former home as smooth as possible from nearly 1,000 miles away.

give them a call if you want countless unknown relators to call. I specifically asked that I don't get a 100 phone calls and texts. I was assured there would be A listing and A cash offer person calling - two different people. My phone has not stopped ringing in the past 6 business hours. this is obviously a broker to get you in touch with a broker and they send your name to everyone. If that is what you want, sign up. Bad experience for me and not sure how to get out of the loop during a time of when I really don't need this.

thank you for your willingness to help. I have sent two texts four days ago and the calls just keep coming. So far yesterday and today alone I have gotten 14 calls.
I submitted info to get our estimated home value, I even selected I have an agent…. They don’t care what so ever and send out your info to at least 20 agents. My phone kept ringing and it was overly obnoxious. Homelight ends up calling over and over and when I finally answered and explained to the rep my frustrations, she gave me attitude and told me “I don’t know why if you’re working with someone why you would look to compare” .
Agents are rude, they are not considerate of your personal info.
Steer clear at all costs! Unless you’re into being glued to your phone to screen calls and get blown up constantly by agents who are thirsty for your business as well as Homelight that has unprofessional representatives.
Dishonest, they will rob your money.

NEVER use this company.I have multiple proofs of their corruption. I will need 10 pages of this review to fill. Few to mention, while they have an active contract with me (the first buyer) they listed the house on sale and got an accepted offer from a 2nd buyer, without cancelling my contract. They use their own teams to produce fake inspection reports (conflict of interest). This house referred in pics has a major issue in the roof, and appraisal was contingent to the repairs of the roof. Per the pics attached the listing agent listed the house on the market while the contract with me was still active, misleading a second buyer with their untruthful descriptions. If you need more details, feel free to contact me. This company should not be in business.
After 6 months of trying, and several contracts later, we felt like we had an unsellable condo, even though we had done a full renovation. I was doing research and HomeLight came up. I had a call with them and they connected us to a great realtor who had tons of experience in the downtown condo market of Chicago! Hayley, and her team member who we worked with directly, Christie, were amazing! They had great ideas to attract potential buyers to the condo, and get it sold quickly! Within the first few days on the market, we had a great buyer. Christie worked hard to negotiate on our behalf and ended up getting us the exact selling price we wanted, even in an extremely tough market! They also connected us to a great HomeLight attorney, who was easy to work with and let us know exactly what they needed from us. We couldn't be more thankful for what Hayley and Christie did for us and we are grateful to have been able to sell our condo!

I contacted Home Light out of frustration with the condition renters had left my home in. After having the tenants evicted and the property cleaned up they put me in contact with several buyers interested in the home. I was able to chose between using an agent or accepting a cash offer. The process was much less painful then I thought it would be. Home Lite agents were knowledgeable and really seemed to care about helping me sell my home. Selling a home can be a little scary (especially if you’ve never done it). Home Lite made it easy to make a decision and was there for me with any questions I had. I was able to sell my home within 30 days, as is , for a reasonable price. I will refer friends to them in the future and consider them if I ever have to sell a home again.
